TIPS FOR SELLING YOUR HOME
Think of pleasing all five senses: Sight, Sound, Smell, Touch and Taste.

1. Make a great first impression
             -
Keep the lawn mowed & trim the bushes and shrubs.
             - Clean the front windows.
             - Keep the walk way clear.
             - Place a nice welcome mat out.
             - Keep the front door clean and clutter free.
                          - Clean out the spider webs, leaves and other debris.
                          - Jazz up the front door by cleaning it, repainting, hanging a                                      seasonal wreath or adding a stylish new handle.

2. Less is better- clear the clutter.
             - Let buyers see the kitchen countertops.
             - Have closets half full so they look larger.
             - Clean out the garage.
             - Get rid of the knick-knacks.
             - Less furniture will make the room appear larger.
             - Get a storage unit and pack up all non-essential things.

3. Clean, clean, clean!
             - Clean the kitchen as though it were a health inspection.
             - Ditto with the bathrooms.
             - Dust everything.
             - Shampoo carpets & sprinkle with odor-neutralizing powder before you                      vacuum.
             - Keep dirty laundry out of sight.

4. Decorate to sell!
             - Take down personal photos.
             - Set your dining table with fresh flowers or a bowl of fruit.
             - Open a cookbook to a yummy recipe in the kitchen.

5. Mix in the music.
             - Make sure it’s upbeat and happy.
             - Keep the volume high enough to hear but low enough not to be intrusive.

6. Make cookies or muffins! The smell is inviting.

7. Most of all, you want your house to say, “Hi, Welcome Home”
